2-Lime juice 1/2 fluid ounce.

how to make it:

Pour Dariush Grappa and lime juice into a Copper mug add ice cubes and ginger beer. Stir to combine.

Drop a lime wedge into the mug for garnish.

Italian milk punch

1½ fl oz Brandy

¼ fl oz Galliano L'Autentico

½ fl oz Disaronno Originale amaretto

⅛ fl oz Bepi Tosolini Grappa di Moscato

3½ fl oz Milk

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish: Dust with grated nutmeg

Comment: The distinctive flavour of moscato grappa shines through in this milky drink, with amaretto adding rich almond notes and Galliano a touch of peppermint and aniseed.

¾ fl oz Grappa 

¾ fl oz Chartreuse Verte (Green Chartreuse)

½ fl oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur

½ fl oz Freshly squeezed lime juice

1 dash Bob's Chocolate Bitters

½ fl oz Chilled water(omit if wet ice)

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.  

Garnish: Luxardo Maraschino cherry Comment: A grappa based 'Last Word' by way of Denmark.

Affogato

1½ fl Grappa

½ fl oz Kahlua coffee

½ fl oz Gabriel Boudier Dark Creme de Cacao

1 fl oz Espresso coffee (freshly made & hot)

1 scoop Vanilla ice cream

How to make:

BLEND all ingredients with three cubes ice.

Garnish: Float 3 coffee beans

Comment: Based on the classic Italian dessert of the same name, this after dinner cocktail blends coffee and chocolate with ice cream, appropriately fortified with a splash of grappa.

Grapparita

2 fl oz Grappa 

1 fl oz Pallini Limoncello

1 fl oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice

½ fresh Egg white

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish: Lime wedge

Comment: Grappa replaces tequila and lemon liqueur triple sec in this Italian twist in the classic Margarita.

 

About: Adapted from a drink discovered in 2005 at Alfredo's of Rome, New York City, USA. The original called for a sour mix.

Eighteen '97

5 fresh Kumquats (chopped)

1½ fl oz Grappa

1¼ fl oz St Germain Elderflower Liqueur

¼ fl oz Sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water)

¼ fl oz Merlot red wine

How to make:

MUDDLE kumquats in base of shaker. Add next three ingredients, shake and fine strain into a chilled glass. FLOAT wine.

Garnish: Orange zest twist (discarded) & white grapes

Comment: Looks great and, with the citrus freshness of kumquat combined with the oily character of grappa, it also tastes great.
